🩺 Case Consultation & Dental X-Ray Submission FAQs

Everything you need to know about case submissions, availability, and real-time support

☢ What is a real-time consultation?

A real-time consultation provides immediate, case-specific guidance while your patient is being evaluated or treated. This service is designed to support clinical decision-making in the moment, particularly during anesthetized procedures.

☢ How do I get set up for real-time consultations?

Submit your clinic information through the setup form on this page.
Our team will coordinate directly with our imaging partner, who will contact you to complete setup and grant access.

☢ Is this a formal diagnostic report?

This service is designed to provide real-time, peer-to-peer specialist guidance and is not a substitute for a complete diagnostic workup, formal radiology report, or comprehensive treatment plan.

Any written summary represents a brief synopsis of the discussion and clinical impressions at the time of consultation.

☢ Who is responsible for the case?

The attending veterinarian maintains full responsibility for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. This service is advisory in nature.

☢ What are your availability hours?

Dr. Congiusta – REAL-TIME CONSULTATION HOURS
Mondays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Submissions outside this window will not be answered in real time.

☢ Can I still request a formal radiology report?

Yes. Formal radiographic interpretations can be requested separately and are billed independently from real-time consultations.

☢ Is this a replacement for referral?

No. This service is intended to support clinical decision-making. Referral may still be recommended when appropriate.

☢ What if I don’t have radiographs?

Consultations can still be performed based on clinical findings alone; however, guidance may be limited without imaging.

☢ How quickly will I receive a response?

During active consultation hours, responses are provided in real time.
Outside of these hours, cases may be deferred or handled as standard consult submissions.
